    • 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 50% marks from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.
  • Student shall be medically fit.
  • Students appearing in 10+2 examination in Science conducted by National Institute of Open School with 50% marks.
  • Student shall be admitted once in a year.

ANM Nursing

Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (Nursing) course is a 12th standard Medical Nursing course. It deals with the field of science and covers healthcare profession focused on the care of individuals, families, and communities so they may attain, maintain, or recover optimal health and quality of life from conception to death. The duration of Diploma in A.N.M. in Nursing is ranging from one academic year to three but it varies from institute to institute. The Ashirvad Nursing and Paramedical Institute is providing in one year and six months. The minimum time to complete the course is also differentiating from institute to institute. The course may also be available on part time basis in some certain institutes. The course is very important and valuable that opens many job options after its completions.

  • The maximum age for admission shall be 35 years.
  • The minimum educational requirements shall be 10 + 2 in Arts (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, and Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Science or Health care Science – Vocational stream ONLY passing out from recognized Board.
  • Student shall be medically fit.
  • Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination conducted by National Institute of Open School.
  • Student shall be admitted once in a year.

GNM Nursing

GNM programme is meant to prepare general nurses who can efficiently perform as members of the health team and capable of dealing the competencies in both the hospitals and other such organizations.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Minimum and Maximum age for admission will be 17 and 35 years. There is no age bar for ANM/LHV.
  • Minimum education:
    • 10+2 class passed preferably Science (PCB) & English with aggregate of 40% marks.
    • 10+2 in Arts (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Health care Science – Vocational stream ONLY, passing out from recognized Board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board with 40% marks.
    • 10+2 vocational ANM under CBSE Board or other equivalent board with 40% marks.
    • Registered as ANM with State Nursing Registration Council.
  • Student shall be medically fit.
  • Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination or Health care Science – Vocational stream ONLY conducted by National Institute of Open School with 40% marks.
  • Student shall be admitted once in a year.

RULES & REGULATIONS FOR POST BASIC B.SC. NURSING PROGRAMME 

1. General: These rules and regulations are framed as per directives of Indian Nursing Council and MOA of Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences.

2. Faculty: This course shall be under the Allied Health Sciences Faculty. 

3. Nomenclature of Degree: Post Basic Bachelor of Science in Nursing [P.B.B.Sc.(N)]

4. Criteria for the Admission to Post Basic B.Sc. (N) Course: a. Candidate must have passed HSC (Higher Secondary certificate) or equivalent with Arts, Science or Commerce faculty. Science faculty candidate will be preferred. b. The candidate must have passed Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery in an institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council. c. The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration. Council.

5. The candidate should be medically fit. e. Selection of the candidate will be based on the merit of the entrance examination held by PIMS (Deemed University).
